Over recent years the Sydney Marathon has grown into a 35,000 athlete strong race firmly entrenched as a marquee event on the International Athletics Calendar.

With major injections from the NSW Government tourism board, major events agency Destination NSW and significant additional sponsor support, this event continues to attract many of the world’s best elite athletes as the race expands as Asia’s premier marathon. In recognition of the event's stellar rise, accreditation as IAAF gold label, the event is now positioned as a major international marathon alongside Boston, New York and London. We are very pleased to offer both the full live event plus a condensed 60 minutes highlights program, featuring its impressive collection of Asian and International athletes with an array of special features showcasing the athletes and key Sydney iconic landmarks that make up this magnificent world-class course.
